Naawww, Maru is only unreal when he's playful. The cat that wins the Internet for being lazy is Shiro.
His brothers come close.
(Maru is adorable, but Shiro&his group are Zen incarnated)

I'm stunned by how relaxed these cats are! Also watching Kateseventeen's vlog and how playful their cats are made me realize that the supposedly "distant" personality of cats is in large parts due to how they are being treated.

Yeah, they are amazingly calm ^^. Cat personality does vary a lot depending on how they're raised, but some cats have more persistent personalities than others. One of my cats was gentle and Shiro-like since day 1, whereas the other is unbelievably mischievous and no training methods work on her.
And then there was my former cat who was a sadist.
They all have their loving moments though <3. Wouldn't be cats otherwise.
