Finally got my Mr. T back :D - SketchySolid - 2012-12-09 I went through the whole of RTK1 a couple of years back, but I stopped my studies a few months later, because I didn't know what to do next. Now I'm following the walkthrough put together at japaneselevelup.com, and I decided to do RTK again. RTK is so much faster and easier the second time around. But one thing that I missed was all the stories about Mr. T. I'd forgotten how far in the "person" primitive was. But now I'm about halfway through, and Mr. T has reappeared. I'm already looking forward to seeing certain kanji he appears in. Did anyone else develop weird attachments to things that are in many of their stories? Finally got my Mr. T back :D - midonnay - 2012-12-09 the Mr T and Spiderman/Venom primitives helped me alot!!! I also like the Bruce lee one (sign of the dragon) and Mr Bean Finally got my Mr. T back :D - tashippy - 2012-12-09 SketchySolid Wrote:Did anyone else develop weird attachments to things that are in many of their stories?i wrote about things i already had attachments to. hopefully i will persist and never need a second run through RTK--not that it wasn't fun--but i hope to keep climbing kanji and never look back. 頑張ってOP Finally got my Mr. T back :D - haplochant - 2012-12-11 I am really, irrationally attached to the Mr. T stories. I think it's a combination of amusing imagery and knowing that I have extremely good retention history for most kanji using that primitive ("praise" and "waiter" are the only exceptions). I'll be done with RTK in about ten days, but I'm glad to see Mr. T still making frequent appearances. Finally got my Mr. T back :D - SketchySolid - 2012-12-11 I was worried that some new celebrity was going to steal all of Mr. T's thunder while I was away, but he's still got it.
