Confused with the newest 2010 kanji's, help! - Andrew_Blake - 2012-09-30 I am a user of the 4th editon RTK 1, I have reached 1900 kanjii now with anki. I thought about using the supplement.pdf Rtk 1 for the new kanji's. But it seems the 2010 kanji aren't in my anki deck... I used the "Heisig's Remember the Kanji 1-3 w/top 2 community stories" anki deck but i am puzzeld where are the rest of them? Is it not updated? What should I do? I am only thinking about learning he first 2136 kanji not the RTK 3 book. Confused with the newest 2010 kanji's, help! - EratiK - 2012-09-30 Well, all of them except 23 are in RTK3. If you don't want to sort them by hand, there seems to be an Anki shared deck with just the RTK's supplement (157 facts). So the easiest way would be to download it and merge it with an old 2042 deck. Here are the RTK (1+3) numbers of the new jouyou, in a spreadsheet made by Kastuo, https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AqYInAMvWw-2clUzYkZ0WjU3eUVZc3Fybm1zNU9GWEE&hl=en#gid=0 and generally more info in this thread: http://forum.koohii.com/showthread.php?tid=5890 Confused with the newest 2010 kanji's, help! - Andrew_Blake - 2012-09-30 Thank you!!! I'll just merge the two decks, haha I was a bit stressed out there... I would give you a hug if a could! I'll edit this post as I try it out. Edit: I merged the two decks it went fine. Hmmm the new cards are at the top of the card seach list. I wonder if the new cards will be put in as the new cards I am learning before my 1900's cards.. I am still at 1900 kanji so I still have around 200 left. Not a problem though I can just remove the new cards and add them after I have done the 2042 kanji's, if that's the case. Edit: Thanks again! 2'nd edit: It kept the kanji numerals, so no problems. |
