The forum's index page now lets the visitor immediately see the latest discussions.
It essentially combines the old "Show recent posts" and "Show new posts".
It is currently set to exclude these categories :
- Koohii Lounge (Off topic discussions)
- Chinese & Hanzi (note that you can still see on the sidebar, that there is new activity with a small icon)
However if most of you prefer to include the Koohii Lounge topics, we can do that. Cast your vote!

If you don't add Koohii lounge, then I'll never visit it. The only way I ever found new posts on the old forum was via the Recent Posts. I don't click into actual forums. So I'm for adding Koohii lounge.

Okay I put it back in. Makes sense.. I thought it was an idea because there is an icon in the Category sidebar that lets you know of new posts in a sub.. but it does make more sense usability wise to include in Recent topics. ps: besides, it is fairly active after all with 59 pages.

Is there a way that we could get some kind of mark all as read functionality? It would be a nice minor addition. I noticed this is possible in the individual categories but having it in recent topics would be cool.

Wow the new layout looks great. Having the active topics as the main focus is really nice too. The new posts section was the first thing I looked for on the old version so this is just perfect for me. Great job Fabrice.

The problem is that now I can't go directly to the last post I read like we could do in the previous version...

Hi EuPcsl, you can click the green label "NEW" . Do you see them? These should not go away until you either click through the topic, or "Mark forum as read".
This is similar to the previous design, in which you clicked "new posts" in the "Show recent posts" view.
By the way guys.. you don't normally need to use "Mark all forums as read". During the transition, yes, a lot of recent topics were marked as new. I couldn't figure out how MyBB handle those. But once you marked eveyrthing as read, you should only see new activity highlighted, and assuming you visit all the new posts, all the threads are atuomatically marked as read.
