Need help reading characters

#1
I hope this is allowed. If not I apologize in advance.

I have these "paintings" (not sure what they are) that I got from my great grandmother. They appear to be a series of three because only one of them has what I am guessing is a signature. I have taken them to our local college East Carolina University to see if one of the art history professors could tell me anything about them. The paper is very very soft and thin. The professor was unable to read the characters but said that he is pretty sure it's Japanese cursive.

Can anyone tell me what it says?

I have attached pictures of the "paintings" along with some close ups....Some of the close ups appear to show places that look as if they are unfinished, but that could be wrong. Also one of the close ups shows an imprint on the paper that is only on the picture with the one lady.

The signature seems to be 寺崎広業 (Terasaki Kogyo), a Meiji period artist. The seal has 廣業 rather than 広業, 廣 being an older version of 広.
One of your pictures appears when searching his name in Google images.

Thank you so much! Do you think all three of these are part of a series?

I don't know. I presume they are wood block prints, which can be valuable depending on the artist and condition, but I don't have much knowledge of these things.
