I would add 録 to the 緑/縁 set. Those three characters caused me endless confusion until I finally did RTK.

I removed a few of the really obvious ones like 犬 and 太 at one point. I should probably add them back though. 蕪 isn't jōyō.

I know others outside the RTK community down the method (not as bad as 4 years ago though), but looking at that list and easily discerning the differences is still a nice rush. Thanks for making it.

I found the kanji with fiesta/march/parade/arrow primitives to be a blur using traditional methods...

eg:

Right. It's nice to be reminded that I actually confused many of these at some point, but now they all look completely different to me. Well not completely... I confused 構 and 横 the other day when writing. I actually still sometimes write the wrong kanji in a compound word, but I virtually never confuse a kanji when reading.

I've confused 室窒 upon seeing them (but not writing), because I don't pay enough attention as to whether or not the top primitive is roof or hole.
